David represents oil and gas companies, drilling contractors and pipeline operators in high-stakes litigation and other crisis situations. He currently is part of the team representing Transocean Deepwater Drilling, Inc. in the Gulf of Mexico oil spill litigation. David initially served on Transocean’s internal investigation team, helping to direct efforts related to the forensic examination of the blowout preventer. He handled interaction with the governmental agencies involved in the forensic examination and led efforts to secure a neutral testing site for the blowout preventer, all in a politically charged atmosphere. David also has represented various energy companies, as both plaintiffs and defendants, in matters involving millions of dollars in potential exposure. Read David Baay’s full bio here.
